24 SEP 2008: The NCR Chapter hosted its quarterly meeting at Portofino’s in Crystal City. After discussing some Chapter business there was an entertaining presentation on "Living Healthy and Exercising in the Work Place."

Effective 22 February 2010, Ms. Dee Spellman has retired and stepped down as Chapter President consistent with the authorities in the NCR Chapter Bylaws. Mr. Brian Collins will fill out the term of NCR Chapter President and will hold this position until Chapter officer elections in early 2011. Ms. Gail Fowler, currently an at-large member of the NCR Chapter has volunteered to replace Brian as the NCR Chapter Treasurer, however the PHMA main office will continue to assist the NCR with Treasurer duties as needed.
