22 NOV 2011: Partnered with Redstone Communities for a Thanksgiving feast inviting residents and installation senior leadership.
15 SEP 2011: Volunteer to support Habitat for Humanity. Helped families restore their homes and clean up debris from the April 2011 storm and tornado.
11 AUG2011: Chapter Quarterly Meeting at Redstone Communities.
22 JUL 2011: Partnered with Redstone Communities for a resident “fun in the sun” back to school event celebration. The event provided BBQ hot dogs, hamburgers and the Chapter helped provide side dishes. Chapter supervised children on the outdoor bouncing ball arena and water slides.
21 APR 2011: Partnered with Redstone Communities and attended the Apartment Association Seminar on Tenant Laws.
8 MAR 2011: Partnered with Redstone Communities in giving a presentation to the WRA/BRAC New Hire Orientation.
9 FEB 2011: Chapter Quarterly Meeting at Redstone Communities.
APR-MAY 2009: We participated in the Habitat for Humanity in April and May. Habitat for Humanity is an ecumenical, grassroots, Christian housing ministry that seeks to eliminate poverty housing from the world and make decent shelter a matter of conscience and action. They built 11 new homes in 2008.
9 DEC 2008: We visited Floyd E. “TUT” Fann State Veterans Home in Huntsville, Alabama. CLICK HERE to read the story and see photos.
